I would like to take this opportunity to thank our friends both in China and abroad for your profound sentiments and support in the past years!
HYDROCHINA has its roots in a successful institution established in the early 1950s. Despite of continuous changes, the core of its working team remains unchanged, and it is still working as the main force for the country in planning, reconnaissance, design, scientific research, policy study and preparation of technical specifications and standards of renewable energy resources such as hydropower and wind power.
Over the past 50 years, following the tenet of tapping the clean energy resources and bringing benefits to community, we have explored every corner of the country and toiled up in the mountains and down on the rivers, conquered one technical difficulty after another, broken the world records once and again, and made brilliant achievements in the hydropower and wind power development in China.
In the past decade, we have successfully realized the transformation from a public institution under the government’s jurisdiction to a collectivized enterprise. We have expanded our scope of service from a onefold business for hydropower and wind power investigation and design to a wide variety such as municipal works, environmental protection, buildings and architectures, water works and transportation. And we have also undertaken a variety of EPC projects, complete E&M engineering and hydropower and wind power investment projects.
Looking ahead, we are determined to serve China and other countries with predominant technologies and more efficient work for the development of sustainable energy resources. We will make great efforts to make ourselves top-ranking enterprise with a sense of our social responsibilities and well qualified in competing in global market. We will merge into the global family and share our advanced technologies and services with the world.
